Supporting Women in the Workplace

Strategic Content Campaign, Simplyhealth

A movement to better support women in the workplace has risen over recent years, due to findings such as 3.5 million women have considered quitting their job due to the impact of menstrual and menopausal health symptoms at work (Simplyhealth, 2023). Simplyhealth wanted to drive change, urging employers to create an open culture of discussion around women’s health issues and access to support.

As part of Simplyhealth’s corporate content calendar - designed to demonstrate how businesses can support the health of their employees and how a Simplyhealth plan would endorse that - two detailed women’s health guides were developed to assist employers and employees. The guides were promoted via social media through infographics, web, CRM and sales.

Women’s Health proved to be our most popular content topic of 2024 with an email CTR increase of 18% vs. benchmark.

“Women's health is health, and breaking down barriers and taboos is a key step forward to achieve the health outcomes we need and deserve. There's a lot to be done to help destigmatise conversations on women's health, especially in the workplace, where data shows that women too often suffer in silence due to discomfort and embarrassment.”
